![]() ![]() Very thankful to have been able to be a part of this experience. It was really one of the best nights of my life and I will never forget it. So I guess you could say I'm in a TØP song lol! The best part about this whole experience was how they ended with "We're Twenty One Pilots and so are you." That is one of my favorite quotes by them, and once I heard Tyler say it at the end, I started tearing up. He then took the audio and incorporated it into the song they were doing. For example, he asked us to go "Woo!" or clap. For some songs, Tyler had the audience do different sounds. I was looking at them the whole time thinking "Am I really here? Is this really happening?". Sorry if I'm being really cheesy about this, but it really did. I watched them come out on stage and I was so happy. Once I heard the director say "Please welcome Twenty One Pilots", it felt unreal. It was cool doing that! I couldn't wait for the show to start. I was very thankful to be in Row 2, on the edge and in perfect view of the guys.īefore the show started, they recorded the audience applauding and cheering so they can edit these scenes in later. A crew member handed out a piece of paper with your row on it before entering the building. Just to make sure no one used their phones during the taping. They can only be opened with a special device that the crew had with them. Before entering the staging area, they had everyone put their phones in these special pouches called Yondr pouches. Also, free Rockstar Energy drinks! They were the sponsor for this show. The crew gave everyone free MTV Unplugged merch, a hat and a long sleeve tee. I waited in line for about 3 and a half hours (in the hot sun for most of it) and I finally get in around 6 P.M. The day of, I get to the venue around 2:30. Something like this will never happen to me again probably, so it felt so surreal. A few days passed by and I get another e-mail saying I've got a ticket! At this point, I really couldn't believe it. So I join the queue to get my ticket and now I wait. I've been selected to possibly attend their MTV Unplugged set.
